New Vintage Church offers a nursery care for your little ones 0-24 months during each church service and many special events. You can rest assured that the New Vintage Nursery is a caring and loving environment, staffed by qualified individuals. For more information contact: Sarah Stewart - Nursery Cooridinator Jane VomSteeg - Children Education Procedures and Guidelines: Our nursery has implemented an ID badge system that prevents anyone other than the parent from picking up a child. As you sign in your child, you will receive an ID badge with your child's number on it. Simply return the ID badge to a nursery worker when picking up your child. Your child will be issued his/her number when you sign them in. The nursery is designed for children of the ages newborn to 2 years or early walkers. Our staff will inform the parent when they feel a child is ready to move to the toddler room. Nursery facilities will be open during the Saturday evening service, and from 8:45am to the end of the second service each Sunday. The nursery will also be open for special events as announced. Please remember to be prompt in picking up your children after the service or event is over. Health Policies In order to ensure the safety and health of other babies and workers, please refrain from bringing your child if he/she has any of the following symptoms: Diarrhea Vomiting Fever Rash Open sores Runny nose (anything but clear) We are striving to make the nursery as healthy and safe as possible. Some ways we are doing this are by using rubber gloves for diaper changes, matching children to parents with personal ID badges, and using qualified staff members. We also sanitize toys after each service or event. Clothing, etc. Diaper bags, clothing and other personal items must be labeled with the child's full name. Please include a change of clothing and an empty plastic bag in the diaper bag for wet or soiled clothing. Include some disposable diapers for your child. Do not allow your child to bring personal toys or other possessions unless it is a 'security' item (pacifier, blanket, etc.) Are you expecting? Great! Congratulations!!!!! We would love to hear from you. Please come by our nursery and fill in a card or email Sarah Stewart and let us know what your due date is, whether this is your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc... child. You may also want to take this opportunity to come and visit our nursing room. We are starting a program where we will bring you some meals after the birth of your child or help you in any other way we can.
